Before Changi - The Cough and more lumps

Oops! In rushing to bring my blog uptodate, I goofed and missed out the results for the scans and tests and this cough that did not seem to go away.

Jan 08 - This cough that made my life so miserable not so long ago - how could I have forgotten it. It nearly broke my body. but fortunately my mind and spirit were intact. It caused me to lose sleep, I can't talk and I am always short of breath. I was coughing up lots of fluid everyday.

It was so bad, that I kept pulling my muscles on my back and sides one by one. I had to try not to cough so hard and had to press on the aching muscles, only to find out that when one healed, I had pulled another one.

Once, in a taxi near my home, the taxi went over a hump and I went 'ouch!'. My lower back hurt so much, that when the taxi stopped, I had difficulty alighting and walking. From then, whenever I was in a car and we come across a hump, I braced myself, either I shifted to the edge of the seat or I grabbed the back of the front seat and pulled myself of the seat.

After that, it was sheer torture. Every time I coughed, my lower back hurt. I had to ask my son to get me a back support. With this strapped on tight, it gave me relief from the pain.

By now, there were more new lumps on the base of my neck on the right and left side as well.
