Today is the third time I have volunteered for chakra healing therapy at Kg Senang. I find it rewarding and meaningful that with a little time and hardly any effort, I could be doing something so useful as helping others with their health.
Chakra healing, or longevitology, uses the human body to receive energy from the universe. For those of us who have had our chakras opened, our bodies are like the conductors receiving the energy from the universe and passing it to others.

When universal energy enters our body, it energizes every cell, enabling every organ to function normally. "Chi" and blood flow smoothly and good health is achieved. From the oriental medicine perspective, "illnesses" mostly derive from the maladjustment of "chi" and blood. This is similar to the occidental medical approach of using metabolism and circulation to discuss health. Other causes of diseases are germs and viruses. These diseases will disappear naturally following the active flow of "chi" and blood, the improvement of metabolism and circulation, the increase of antibodies, and the enhancement of the immune system in the body. The toxins of disease are expelled by the metabolic system of the body itself: therefore, the person making the adjustment (healing), and the person receiving the adjustment will not contract each other's disease. This is the reason that "Longevitology" can help both oneself and others.
As it uses energy from the universe, it should not be affected by racial and religious divide. However, we have been advised to do the adjustment for those who need and are receptive to being adjusted.
During the training, I was told that it is especially helpful for cancer patients undergoing chemo. Those who received adjustment apparently had little or no side-effects from chemo.
During adjustment, there is only slight contact between our hands and the person receiving adjustment. In the case of sensitive areas or doing it for people of the opposite sex, adjustment can be done at a distance of a couple of inches away, without any body contact at all.
We have volunteers who go to hospitals, nursing homes and even to the homes of people who are house-bound to do the adjustment. Anybody wishing to receive adjustment can refer to the website for contact information.

Right now, I am unable to comment on longevitology's effect on my cancer, as treating cancer needs time. I do know that a senior who had gone through advanced class treated my lymphadermic right arm once and I could feel the difference. Again, this problem needs repeated sessions. I do know that when it comes to aches, pains, sprains, etc, it is very effective and I can actually feel the difference after a 10-minute session.
I am only at intermediate level and I do not have the materials for advanced class. You could visit their website to check for their schedule for advanced class.
By the way, if you are in Singapore and have completed the intermediate class of longevitology, I understand that there may be plans to hold an advanced class towards the end of this year.
A basic/intermediate class will be held on 3 - 8 April and all seats are taken. There is plan to hold another basic/intermediate class before the advanced class.
