2 May 2012 - Accounts from NCC called to inform me that my medisave account is bankrupt.
From here on, I have to claim from my husband's medisave account.
Not only is my medisave account bankrupt, but I have also hit the annual S$600 limit for claims on neoplasm items. I am not sure why they refer to it as neoplasm, but it means that x-ray, ctscan, mri, etc, done for the rest of 2012, I have to pay in cash after deducting government subsidy where available and/or claims from medishield.
The amount of money that I am spending in relation to my condition has always left me wondering if my money or my life will run out first.
